Union Wood Company Coat Hook

Designed to replicate antiquated date nails, which became popular in the late 1800's for use in setting railroad ties. Date nails, marked on the "head" with their production year, were spiked into the rail ties as they were laid as a way to keep track of when wooden ties needed to be replaced.
Our solid bronze coat hook nails are as sturdy as they look and can be driven into backing surface or coat rack to act as the perfect dependable place to hang your most used goods.

3 1/2" long, 1/4" shank
